In the interest to get to know people on this forum, write a little blurb about yourself. Very Happy

I'm getting my master's in metallurgical engineering and I'm beginning to think that making jewelry may very well take over my life. Of course, the metallurgical background won't hurt once I get supplies to start tempering and soldering... I live in Colorado where I spend ample amounts of time rock climbing, kayaking, and tele-skiing. I draw inspiration for my jewelry from the textures and colors I see while on my outdoor adventures. I work part time at an indoor climbing gym and with what free-time I have left, I hang out at home with my husband and dog, Trango. I'd love to meet any of you that live in the Denver area - maybe we could set up a crafting afternoon to get together and make stuff and chit-chat.

Alright, your turn!

I'm a busy mom to 3 boys from Ontario, Canada. In my 'down time', I make embroidered quilts, pillow & other fun things. In September I opened up a brick & mortar store to showcase local arts & crafts. I've also been selling thru my shop on Etsy for a few months now. I'm looking forward to chatting with you all soon Smile

I am a Brit living in Seattle, have been for nearly 7 years now. I live with my 4 kids and 7 pets and one 'put upon' husband. My favorite thing to do when not 'chasing my tail' is to sit and craft, mainly knit! Infact I am a passionate knitter, truely addicted.

I dream of living in an old house with a view of the sea and a huge stash of yarn, and a couple of chickens. Somewhere in the picture are my kids and poor 'put upon' husband...you've got to have a dream Smile

New to Etsy and the web...just seeing where it takes me. Looking forward to getting to know some new crafters!

that's it Smile

My name is Becky and I live in a small town in south central Kansas. My husband and I have a 3 1/2 year old son who is totally obsessed with sharks and other sea animals. Kind of funny since we live in a land-locked state!

My "real" job is as a real estate closing officer at a title company. In my spare time, I scrapbook, read and sew the purses for my Etsy shop and craft shows. I'm a member of the design team at Scrapbook Chic in Salina, KS. I get to design projects for display and teach classes. Lots of fun!

My name is Steph and I'm a full time college student in the hotel and restaurant management program which I'll be graduating in April. In my downtime, as I don't have a job right now, I craft and go to concerts. Music and art is my absolute life, apart from writing. I am finishing my first full length novel and hope one day for it to be published. I'm getting married May 3, 2008 to the best man in the world. ^-^

Hi My name is Sara. I live in Liverpool UK. I am part of the Craftical Collective. There are for of us. We sell our crafts in our little Etsy shop, Its been pretty slow, but now we are planning on getting some funds so that we can start doing the craft fairs. We mostly specialise in jewellery, but bags and toiletries often appear in our shop.

I hope that I can pick up a few hints and tips on how to sell more, and maybe ways to improve our products.

Wishing you all well!

Hi yall,
My name is Debby and I live in the deep south with my husband and 2 kids. I am a stay at home wife and mom. I have been making jewelry for over 20 years. When I'm not doing that usually I am helping my husband put together a motor. He drag races in our spare time. There is not much of that to go around these days. Right now we are trying to find a house to buy instead of renting out in the country.

My name is Julie McQuade and I'm addicted to hot glass. I'm a lampwork glass artist who dabbles in jewelry making, mixed media collage and sewing.

I've been lampworking since 2003 and making jewelry since 2002. I have a store on Etsy so, please visit me and if you like me-heart me!!!! I'm working on getting 60 hearts and have 1 or 2 more to go.

My jewelry is constructed from sterling silver wire and is done with cold connections(I haven't learned to solder yet but it's on my list of things to learn). I love taking the raw wire and constructing it into something beautiful. I do chain maille, with my handmade jump rings, I'm very intrigued by textile techniques with metal, I also have jewelry featuring my lampwork beads.

Thanks for taking the time to read my intro. Happy Creating Everyone!!!!
